Transitioning Into Fall With These OOTDs.

It's happening. Fall is right around the corner. And then..........WINTER. 😒 😒 😒 😩 😩 😩 😭 😭 😭

Okay, so as much as I HATE the thought of fall and winter, I have to admit, fashion in the most fun during fall. The neutral colours, the blanket scarfs, and the unlimited cute booties. Like, I can't get enough.

Don't get me wrong, I do love a good maxi dress and slip on sandals for summer. But I get reallll excited for fall. (Only for the fashion, though. Not the weather).

I'm slowly swapping in the maxi dresses for sweater dresses and ankle boots, so I thought I'd share a few OOTDs with you guys. If you're following on Snap/Insta, then you've seen these, however, I don't always link the outfits on there because I'm usually rushing out the door.

K let's get to the outfits:

Nothing screams fall more than a sweater dress. This black, midi sweater dress is everything. I got it years ago rummaging through Winners. It's Calvin Klien, and one of my favourites! You can dress it up with pumps if you need to, but I love to keep it causal with some booties and maybe a long necklace or stacked bracelets. I feel like such a bawse babe in this.

In love with this very simple white & black look. It's so effortless yet chic. Oversized, comfy sweaters are where it's AT this fall. I live for big sweaters. The bigger, the better, actually. Like, steal your boyfriend's sweaters. They are the perfect size. HAHA. When I'm buying a sweater, I always go a size or two bigger, because that way, if they are huge, you can kind of do an off-the-shoulder look. Which is SO cute, btw.

Another oversized sweater look. This time, with a pencil skirt. You know, just to switch things up a bit. I've been doing this look a lot. Big sweater, pencil skirt. I once saw a girl rock this look at Fashion Week and became totally obsessed. You know all those pencil skirts we put away because the weather is cooling down? Well, don't. You're not quite finished with them yet. Because now, instead of pairing it with a tank top and denim jacket, you're doing a big sweater over top.

{ Outfit 4 }

Another one of my favourite Calvin Klein sweater dresses! I also love army green for fall. This is such a versatile dress, because of that zipper that can be opened all the way, or closed. Sometimes I like wearing the zipper open to the top and I'll pair the sweater with jeans or even tights. But most of the time, I'll wear it as a dress and keep the zipper to a decent length. I have a pair of really cute army green booties that I wear with this dress.

{ Outfit 5 }

And lastly, my favourite fall accessory...The Blanket Scarf. Nothing chicer, really. I mean, you could wear anything, and throw on a blanket scarf, and immediately you look put-together. I kid you not. Try it. There's just something so stylish about a blanket scarf. I have them EVERYWHERE. One at work, a few in my car, and tons at home. You never know when you're going to need to throw one on. This particular blanket scarf was from Titika last winter, so they don't have that one any longer, however, they're everywhere! Here's a few of my faves:

Okay, so that's it for fall...so far. You can expect more fall fashion sooooon. Except this week has really thrown me for a loop. I mean, all of a sudden it's summer again, and out came the maxi dresses and sandals. I'm not complaining.

How's everyone's week going? If you guys aren't following on Snap/Insta, come hang out! I'm filming a vlog this week. I've teamed up with Meridian Credit Union again, for a new campaign they are promoting. Basically, I'm given only $20/day for 5 days and I'm not allowed to spend anymore than that. Errrr...yea. Kinda challenging? So far, it's been okay. I'm on Day 3. We'll see how the rest of the week goes.

The campaign is to bring awareness to millennials and their spending habits. TBH, we spend a lot of money on stupid shit everyday. Without even thinking! I've noticed I do that a lot. Like, I'll go to HomeSense and buy an avocado pit remover gadget thing...because I think it's cute. I meannnnn, did I really need that?? Probs not.

Anyway. The vlog should be fun. I'm looking to do more and more video content for you guys, because you seem to like that. Send me ideas of what you want to see!

Have a FABULOUS rest of the week, you guys.

Xx, kim

Nice outfits. I notice in the picture for outfit 3 you are sporting short hair. How old is that? I also notice you're sporting a big rock on your wedding finger. Is this recent? Would love if you covered relationships more too!

Hi Hannah,

Picture 3 is my hair tied back actually :)
And No, lol, I'm not sporting a ring. That my right hand, and it's a horseshoe gold ring :)
I will try and cover more relationships on the blog. Thanks for your comment and feedback. Always appreciated!

You look gorgeous in all your outfits. I really like fall and winter just because of the dressing up in these seasons. I like wearing cardigans in winter .

Thanks for responding. I checked the picture again. That's your left hand!!! Haha No biggie though... I myself am interracial; my dad's black and my mom's white. You appear to come from a similar background. Am I right? If that's the case would love your perspective specifically on being an interracial person on the dating scene! Great blog!!! xo
