IT Cosmetics, DYNAMIC DUO.

Happy Monday, beauties!

Before I get into these amazing beauty products, how was everyone’s St. Paddy’s weekend?

Mine was a slight disaster. It involved quite a few homemade, shaken cosmos (they’re deadly) and aggressively dancing to Irish music. I mean, it was a typical St. Paddy’s night out, I guess. I did pay for it on Saturday though…

Hangovers are NOT a good look for me. Highly annoying actually.

Thank God for ice rollers and Snapchat filters. HA!

What about you guys? Any juicy stories? Tell, tell.

Okay, well let’s just get right into these beauty babes I can’t seem to live without these days.

As you guys know, I get thrown A LOT of beauty products as a blogger. All kinds of make-up and skincare products to try out. I’m constantly changing up my products and giving new things a try, so that when I find something AMAZING, I share them with you immediately.

That’s the fun part about blogging. I get to share all my faves.

So, when IT Cosmetics send me this duo, I instantly fell in love.

The one thing I kind of struggle with, is dark circles under my eyes. It’s inevitable. I have them. I accept them. (Well, I don’t fully accept them.) LOL.

I’m not one to wear a full face of make-up daily. I slap on some powder, a little bronzer, mascara and if I’m really feeling it, I’ll do some eyeliner. No concealer, no foundation, and definitely NO contouring…

But, when I’m getting ready for blog shoots, I obviously commit to the whole make-up thing. If you guys follow along on Snapchat (UN: kim-marquis) or Insta, I sometimes share the entire process with you guys. This also doesn’t take me more than 20 mins. MAX. I can’t spend hours doing make-up. It bores me.

Anyway, when comes to wearing foundation, let’s be real for a second, I HATE IT. I mean sure, it makes my skin look fucking flawless, but the feeling of thick liquid clogging up my pores, just irks me. I don’t want ANYTHING on my face that’s going to clog up my pores. I need my skin to breathe at all times.

So, going back to these AMAZING two products by IT Cosmetics: the CC cream with SPF and the illuminating eye concealer. BOTH are seriously amazing. Did I mention they're both anti-aging? Ugh, YES.

The CC cream is super light and doesn’t clog up your pores. It also has SPF 50 in it, which is SO MUCH YES. You guys know how anal I am with sunscreen. I drown my skin in sunscreen always. Even in the winter. So having that extra coverage in my CC cream is perfect. If you follow along on Snap/Insta, you know that I mix this CC cream with a bit of avocado oil for that dewy look. When I use this, I don’t need any foundation. The coverage is perfect for me. I honestly, don’t want to look like a flawless Barbie, anyway. What happened to embracing our flaws?

The illuminating eye concealer is one of my favourites! BYE-BYE to any dark circles. Honestly, gone. Again, I don’t use this daily, because I actually feel like it would scare me to see myself NOT have dark circles. LOL. And the less I have on my face, the better. This stuff is only for blog shoots, and really formal outings. I’m accepting of my dark circles on the daily. Embracing the flaws, you guys.

Although, I could have used this the day after St. Paddy’s. Dark circles were slightly out of control.

Two days later, and I’m still not sure I’m 100% back to normal yet. Is this a sign of aging? >_<

I’m heading to a cool event tonight. Follow along on Snapchat/Insta.

Oh, and stay tuned for an Instagram Live happening on April 1st with one of my favourite people ever. We’re going to do a mini beauty episode for you guys on all our favourite skincare/beauty products. It’s going to be A LOT of fun. I’ll have more details for you soon!

In the meantime, follow us on Instagram: @thechicconfidential and @daniel.pillai (he is ALL SORTS of fun!)

Chat soon— Xx, kim

Sorry that your st patty's day was a bit of a disaster. We didn't do anything here, but stayed in. That looks like a great duo! :)
