This Pinstripe Moment.

HOLY F***! It's December...

Is anyone else mind-blown at how fast time flies? In less than a month it will officially be 2017.

....which is really exciting. We've got an exciting event in the making for New Year's Eve. Yes, I work on NYE, and totally love it.

Let's chat about NYE for one second.

Does anyone go full out? Like, sparkly dresses, champes, gala-night type thing? I was ALL about that, once upon a time, and maybe it's an age thing, but I'm more about a cozy night in. Champes included of course...

If I'm not working on NYE, which by the way, is a shit ton of fun when you work with the team that I work with, I'm usually about a quiet evening in, with a few close friends, some chic champagne flutes, GOOD food, maybe a sparkly top, and lots of candles. I know, I realize I'm 80 years old...

I'm just more into that retired vibe, you know? LOL.

Is anyone else not about making New Year's Eve a big deal? Weigh in.

Let's switch over for a second and talk about this pinstripe moment I'm having.

I love a good black and white outfit. It's one of my favourite combos and perfect for the winter. I don't really introduce much colour into my wardrobe during the colder months. Maybe I should? I love this top by Wild Blue Denim. If you guys don't know this brand, check it out!

Let me tell you a bit about their company, because it really is SO awesome, and very on brand for The Chic Confidential, so naturally I had to collaborate with them.

Wild Blue is a brand that aims to empower young women, and thier goals to do so also extend outside the realm of fashion. Corazon de Vida (CDV) is a 20+ year non-profit organization providing life-changing support for orphaned and abandoned children in Baja Mexico by funding local orphanages, and providing services to improve quality of life and higher education. Wild Blue provides monthly funding for the orphanages under their care. These orphanages give abandoned children security, nutrition, shelter, and reliable education. Through these charitable actions they empower young children and give them the opportunity to grow up in a world that values them, so that they can live a original, authentic life.

How amazing, right? You can learn more about their company, and shop their styles, here

This outfit is super easy and comfortable. No effort needed at all.

Of course, if you want to get technical, by all means, you can spice it up with a chic leather jacket, a pencil skirt and over-the-knee boots. But sometimes, I like to keep it simple and to the point.

I think a wide leg pant is one of my favourite pieces for winter. It's a no-effort piece. And goes with EVERYTHING. I kinda live in this pant all winter. You can really dress it up or down. Totally up to you.

Anyway, how was everyone's weekend? Mine included several cosmos, followed by a ladies night out, followed by blueberry pancakes....

I would say that sums it up.

K, I'm off to catch up on How To Get Away With Murder. Who has seen The Crown?? That's up next.

Xx, kim
