And just like that, it's Monday again!
Where's does the weekend go?? And who do I talk to about a three-day weekend? I just feel as though we'd be slightly more productive if we all had three full days off and four days of work. No?
On that note, I just want to say that I love what I do SO much that I do it on weekends too. I'm always somewhat "working". Whether I'm conjuring up the next blog post, attending events, coordinating events, or out doing blog shoots, I'm always kind of working.
How does that saying go again?
If you love your job, you'll never have to work a day in your life.
That statement couldn't be truer. I absolutely LOVE both my jobs, and I swear I'm not just saying that. Of course, we ALL have days where we want to call it a night and just say f*** it. But, 97% of the time, I'm smiling through the week....and weekend.
And yes, even on Monday mornings! (With coffee in hand, of course.)
Something I also love seeing/hearing is when other people love their jobs. I've been meeting SO many people lately that enjoy what they do. Nothing, and I mean, NOTHING is worse than going to a job you absolutely hate. I've definitely been there, and I can tell you that it's one of the worst feelings ever.
You wake up feeling stuck, like you have no purpose in life, and you just have a bad attitude towards everything. You're basically a Negative Nancy. And nobody likes a Negative Nancy. There were a few months I had felt that way about a job, and literally woke up one morning and realized 'oh f**k no!' I wasn't going to live another day being "stuck" in this position. I went in that morning, handed in my notice, and instantly felt liberated. Free as a f**king bird.
Now, I had ALL the time in the world to focus my energy on finding something amazing. And that happened pretty quickly.
Anyway, I'm not going to ramble on forever about this, but honestly, if you hate it, quit it. And that really goes for everything, not just your job.

How was everyone's weekend? It was a chilly one in the city.
Shot a ton of outfits this weekend. Can't wait to show you guys. You already know this if you we're following on Snap/Insta. Do follow my Insta account, lotsss of fun going on there, always. ;)
This OOTD is a simple one. Again, I don't really care what anyone says about wearing white after labour day, because I love it and will totally rock it whenever I feel.
With a simple outfit like this, don't forget to accessorize. I've got on my favourite gold chocker by Sisa & Co and a watch by Jord Watches.
Firstly, can we talk about this gorgeous, gold chocker that is totally, 100% Canadian made?
Sisa & Co. is a young start up fashion accessory line that was created by two sisters, Diana and Paula, who wanted to use their creative differences by building something together. They are both super creative entrepreneurs that came together and created their cute little accessory company, Sisa & Co.
Check out their online shop. They've got the cutest accessories! And I LOVE their scarfs.
Jord Watches create luxury one-of-a-kind, Wooden Wristwatches, using the finest wood. I love how unique these watches are. I only recently started wearing this, and I can't tell you how many people have already asked me about it. It really just adds to any outfit. They have a HUGE selection of colours as well. I've always been a watch type of gal, but this wooden watch has brought me to a whole other level of CHIC. No?
Ok, so you guys are going to LOVE this next part...
Click on this link, fill out the form, and you'll be entered to win the watch you choose.
