This grey on grey look can be found here.

Hey loves!!

Coming to you with a mid-week post, recapping some of last week.

I feel like my life has come down to two things. Work and blogging. I have to sometimes force myself to put away the technology and enjoy anything else. However, every time I think, maybe I should do something else, life always just brings me back to the things I love. Which really is my job and blogging. So, I'm NOT complaining. But, does anyone else feel like that sometimes? Shed some light in the comments.

I'm not the most spontaneous person in the world, and yes, I do live a pretty routine lifestyle, but trust me, I wouldn't have it any other way. Although sometimes, certain people in my life can bring out the spontaneity in me. When you're an event planner, you tend to plan EVERYTHING in life, not just work events. In my world, I've already got a 2016 planner, and I'm sitting at about mid-March right about now. LOL.....(I'm not kidding.)

Moving on...

If you guys were following me on Snapchat, you would have seen me at a fabulous brunch with some fabulous ladies! I was invited to attend a brunch at Colette Grand Cafe in Toronto and Bonne Maman was hosting it, so naturally I was there...

The food was heaven. Read all about it here

I also kinda love Snapchat lately. I think I may have already mentioned this in a previous post. It's so raw and unfiltered. You can have SO much fun with it, and that's exactly what I'm doing. Follow me if you aren't already: kim-marquis.

I also dined with my favourite girls the other night. We ordered in fish tacos at my main spot, Grand Electric. I am seriously obsessed. Just ask the girls. I mean, the obsession was getting a bit out of hand. Haha. I cannot stress how good these fish tacos are. The obsession with fish tacos began in LA, where hands down, they have the BEST fish tacos I've ever eaten. So, when I came back here, I was on a hunt to find fish tacos that were close to the ones I had in LA. The closest I've found are at Grand Electric. Has anyone eaten here?? Can you share the obsession? Also, if you know other places that have amazing tacos, DO SHARE! I'm always on the look out.

Ps. If you do try out Grand Electric, be sure to try the Fried Cauliflower taco as well. Ugh, SO good!

Again, if you are following me on Snapchat, you would have seen me at Paint Nite! I don't consider myself an amazing artist, but I was in fashion school for 4 years, and did a bit of sketching and painting, so I'm not entirely clueless when it comes to art. The painting was pretty easy in my opinion. Has anyone ever been? I love doing things like this. There is something so relaxing about drinking and painting....

Last but not least, sharing a photo from my time in Paris last year, and remembering the beauty that this city is and was. It was an absolutely tragedy what happened to Paris and what is happening to our world. I will continue to pray for peace and humanity, and have faith that things will get better.

Enjoy the rest of your week, lovelies!! xx
