Cooking With De'Longhi.

Hi guys!!

Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! I know I did. It involved a seriously delicious brunch on Saturday which I will share on the blog with you guys soon. 

So, this post is for all you serious cooks out there! I attended an amazzzing event hosted by the folks at De'Longhi, and I cannot even begin to tell you how well-planned and informative this event was. Firstly, being an event planner myself, I was in awe of all the little details that the coordinators thought of. Right from the car service that was provided, to the little snacks that were passed around, and the unlimited wine (and other drinks) that were available. Great job ladies!




So, let me tell you guys what the event was all about. It was basically a bunch of amazing people who love to cook, or are aspiring cooks (like myself), and wanted to test out some fabulous De'Longhi products. Essentially a culinary class. The event was hosted at The GE Monogram Design Centre & Cooking Studio in Toronto. If you haven't checked out this space, DO IT. It's absolutely stunning. Think huge-ass kitchens, modern decor, ample counter space, and steel appliances. So gorg right?


Let's talk about the menu shall we? Butternut Squash Soup with Crème Fraiche and Toasted Pumpkin Seeds, Moroccan Chicken with Prunes and Almonds, Moroccan Vegatarian Couscous, Olive and Goat Cheese Crostini, and Pea and Pecorino Crostini. 



I know...HEAVEN!




These amazing pear stuffed puffs were passed around while mingling before all the cooking started. Ugh so, SO good!

I'm not a huge fan of peas, however, this pea and pecorini crostini was delish!! The topper was mint leaves. Mmm!
