Sephora's Overnight Sleep Masks.

Let's talk facial masks.

I LOVE facial masks, kind of obsessed with them actually. Why? Because I'm obsessed with my skin. You know, after I turned 25, (three goddamn years ago) I became quite obsessive over my skin...because I'm TERRIFIED of aging! I'm always making sure I'm eating clean, taking my make-up off before I go to sleep, and sunscreening the shit out of my face allll day errrday. I love the sun too much to stay away from it, and therefore I need to protect my skin.

In a previous blog post I mentioned how much I love the Lush facial masks, which are amazing by the way! Today I'm talking about an overnight sleep mask. Sephora's Overnight Sleep Mask. One that you can literally sleep with on. Seriously, these couldn't be more amazing! I mean, they are actually working into my skin while I sleep!

Here's what you need to know:

What is it formulated to do?

Each of these masks is infused with a different active ingredient for relaxing the skin and achieving a brighter, more revitalized complexion. The luxurious cream-gel texture melts into skin for penetration of the active ingredients while you sleep.

♡ Pearl Mask: Evens and helps minimize irregularities for skintone that is even, fresher, and brighter.
♡ Ginseng Mask: Provides a tightening effect while toning for a supple, fresh, and energized complexion.
♡ Lingzhi Mask: Smooths wrinkles and minimizes the signs of aging for younger-looking skin.
♡ Lotus Mask: Locks in water and reduces the signs of fatigue for the appearance of plumper, more rested skin.
♡ Rose Mask: Plumps skin and gives an immediate radiance boost for hydrated, more luminous skin.
♡ Green Tea Mask: Absorbs excess sebum and purifies for a matte, clean complexion.
♡ Pomegranate Mask: Awakens and tones the skin while reducing signs of fatigue for a revitalized look.
♡ Honey Mask: Nourishes and relieves dry skin instantly for softened, balanced skin.

My favourite three are the Ginseng, Pearl, and Lingzhi << because aging...hellloo! But obviously get whatever you need for your skin.

These masks are amazing, and I absolutely love them! They are also great for traveling. I never wear make-up on airplanes, because with all the radiation and recycled air, I want my skin to breath as much as possible and be clear of any chemicals. On long flights, these mask are perfect for keeping the moisture locked into your skin. These masks also go on clear, so it's not like you are walking around on an airplane with a green face or anything...lol.

Anyways, since I'm so obsessed with masks, skin, anti-aging, does anyone have any recommendations for really good masks they swear by?! I love trying new ones so please share in the comments!!

Happy Monday!!

Nice!

How often can we apply these onto our face? (every 2/3 nights/once a week?)

Thanks!

Hi Leslie,

I usually do this about once a week. I wouldn't go more than twice a week. :)

Hope that helps!

I'm never without Glamglow's Supermud and Flashmud- they're pricier but I'm not really willing to step back down to a drugstore mask when I can be using these. The Supermud I use about once or twice a week to really deep clean and help treat/prevent breakouts, and I use the Flashmud any time I feel like my skin is especially dull or bogged down with residue- a small tub of that one can last me a while since you don't have to use as much.

Hey, I was wondering if you use whole packaging of the mask at once. I read some articles where bloggers said it was more like for 2 or 3 times use.

Thanks :)

Hi MischaS! You can actually get a couple more than just one use out of these. I use it twice. :)
